Golden Skate Oy, registration number: 0859050-0, address: Aarikkalankatu 36, 33530 Tampere; sells products to companies and individuals of legal age to countries of the European Union. These terms of delivery are applied to your ordering from our web store and to the deliveries as well.
These terms of delivery are valid as from 17.2.2017. We have the right to change these terms of delivery unilaterally from time to time so please go through them each time and before you order from our web store.
Shipping outside of Finland
We ship to all EU countries, Iceland, Norway, Turkey, Ukraine and Switzerland.
Products and prices
The characteristics and the prices of the products in our web store are presented in each product presentation. We reserve the right to change the prices of the products and delivery prices so please check the above amounts in the shopping basket before you accept the order.
Product prices include VAT 24% or 14%, which appears in the shopping cart and order confirmation. Golden Skate is not held accountable for price errors in clear cases, for example if the error was so obvious that the consumer should have understood the existence of the error.
The prices of delivery depend on the product itself (for example the weight and packaging) and the method of delivery chosen. postage costs inside Finland € 9.90 (Smart Ship) or € 9.90 (Matkahuolto) or DHL € 9.90, will be added automatically to the total amount of your order and you will see the the cost in your shopping basket before you accept your order. In orders outside Finland, you will choose your preferred method of postage after giving your details and before payment.
Ordering and contract
You can order products on the website of our online store by transferring them to the shopping cart and confirming the order and paying for the contents of the Shopping Cart in the payment service. When ordering from our online store, you are required to read and commit to our current delivery terms. You understand that your order, which you accept and confirm, is (except as set forth below in respect of the right of cancellation) binding and creates an agreement between us with these Terms of Delivery.
Payment and payment methods
We use Bambora PayForm (Paybyway Oy, business ID 2486559-4), which is registered in the register of payment institutions maintained by the Financial Supervisory Authority. Payment is made via Bambora's online service and Bambora or Paybyway Oy is shown on the account statement and invoice. Bambora forwards the payments to the online merchant. Payment is secure, as all information about the payment transaction is transmitted using an encrypted connection so that no third party can see the details of the payment transaction.
The transaction is created between the e-commerce customer and the e-commerce.

Through the PayForm service, you can pay with online banking IDs, payment cards (credit / debit), invoice or installment. The following payment methods are available: Osuuspankki, Nordea, Danske Bank, Oma Säästöpankki, Säästöpankki, Aktia, Local Cooperative Banks, S-bank, Handelsbanken, Ålandsbanken, MobilePlay, Masterpass, Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, MasterCard and Debit MasterCard - Cards.
If you order the product with Matkahuolto Bussiennakko, the delivery will be paid in the pick-up location when you pick up the package.
For unclaimed shipments, Golden Skate will charge the customer a handling fee of EUR 25.00.
Confirmation of order and payment
After your successful order we will send you an order confirmation to your e-mail, so please make sure that you provide your e-mail address when making your order. In the order confirmation we also confirm your method of payment. In case that, due to an unexpected circumstance, we cannot accept your order, we’ll inform you promptly.
We will deliver your order via the delivery method set in our web store chosen by you when ordering.
In letter shipments, we may open the product package and / or arrange the product in different ways so that it meets the conditions set for the method of delivery.
Our typical delivery times to European Union countries are, depending on the order and the method of delivery, 2-7 business days. More specific delivery times are informed in connection with product descriptions.
Right of cancellation and returns
If you are a consumer you have the right to cancel your order in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act by notifying your cancellation to us at the latest 14 days after you have received the goods, or the last lot of the delivery, or if it is a question of regular deliveries of goods at the latest 14 days after you have received the first shipment.
You must make your notification of cancellation clearly for example by using our cancellation notification form, by sending your notification to our e-mail address written below, or by a written notification attached to your return delivery of the goods.
Returned products must be in their original packaging, unused and well packaged for return.
Special orders and discount and promotional products have no right of exchange or cancellation. The right of return does not apply to socks, underwear and tights or individually selected skates (skate shoe + blade).
If you cancel your order you have to return the goods promptly and at the latest within 14 days after the cancellation notification, to the Return Address mentioned in these terms below. If necessary, the returner must prove that the goods have been returned within the time limit, for example with a return receipt. The returner must send the product to the address below and pay the cost of return. These costs will not be reimbursed to the returner. In the event of an exchange, Golden Skate will bear the cost of the product (textiles and accessories) returned to the customer for the first time. The cost of resizing the skates will be borne by the customer.
When returning the goods, please attach your name, contact information and your bank account number for a refund. We will return such payment promptly to you in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act.

Inspection of the delivery, errors and problems
Please inspect the delivery received promptly upon receipt. If a product is missing or damaged during the transport or if the delivery is otherwise not as you have ordered or if there is a defect in the product, please notify this to our Customer service promptly and at the latest within 14 days so we can agree how to correct the situation. Regarding defects related to products ordered by consumers we adhere to the mandatory provisions of the consumer protection legislation.
The warranty is conditional on the product being used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and recommendations. Golden Skate may be released from warranty liability if the product is damaged due to improper use, accident or other similar circumstance. If the manufacturer or service center later discovers that the breakdown was due to the customer's negligence, Golden Skate has the right to charge the customer for the repair costs.
The warranty period for skates is 3 months and for blades 1 year.
In complaint situations, we primarily seek to repair the product. If the repair is not successful, the product will be replaced if the complaint is justified. In complaints, we always first consult the manufacturer before accepting the complaint.

Limitation of liability
Golden Skate Oy will not be liable for any direct, indirect or other damage related to or arising from the order, delivery or the product, except to the extent as otherwise stipulated by the mandatory provisions of the consumer protection law or by the mandatory provisions of other applicable law.
In case of any dispute regarding your order we wish to settle such primarily with you. So please contact our Customer service in such matters so we can try to settle the question.
If a dispute concerning a sales contract cannot be resolved through negotiation between the parties, the consumer can submit the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board for resolution.
Before taking the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board, the consumer should contact the Local Register Offices' Consumer Advisory Service.
